A huge thanks to the team at La Bella strings for the continued support! Heres a short rundown of my latest "care package" direct from New York.

On the 5th September this year I'll hopefully be taking part in the Phil Jones Solo Bass Competition being held in Penarth, South Wales (not too far from where I live)

Latest Charlie J track is out today! Bass by me 🎸 I used my "66" P Bass with LaBella Depp Talkin' Flatwound strings and striaght into Logic Pro X with a very basic B15 amp sim and FET compression.

Opening up my old sourcing of session musicians system! As a musician in my position I am able to source & book a whole range of top UK session musicians for any project. From remote recording sessions, "Live Lounge" style productions to full tours for most instruments/vocals.

A groove over a very common soul chord progression. Playing around with time but keeping it simple.
