After hearing the sad news of D'Angelo's passing last week I've put together a little interpritation of the bass part to my favourite D'Angelo track - I Found My Smile Again

One of my favourite chord progressions & tracks arranged for chords on bass. Using my Overwater Custom Hollow-Body 6 String. Favouring the neck pickup, tone slightly rolled off & EQ flat. Strung with La Bella round wound strings. Into Logic with some compression & light reverb. Phill. Bass Player, Bandleader, Music Educator.
