Liza Baker from ITV's THE VOICE UK #TeamJHudd now STARS in her own theatre show with a fabulous live band behind her. Liza comes from Pontypridd in Wales (Tom Jones home town) and has over 30 years experience in the music business and has built up quite a following in Wales as Liza Starlight performing all over the world including Europe, The Middle East, Bahrain & America with the band Jefferson Starship (with audiences of 22,000). Liza has recently performed on ITV's THE VOICE UK in front of two Saturday night TV audiences of 8 million plus, and the celebrity judges, Sir Tom Jones, Will-I-Am, Gavin Rossdale & Jennifer Hudson who's team Liza became a part of on the show.

JENNIFER HUDSON - "Amazing, damn I gotta go, You got me ALONE BABE"

SIR TOM JONES - "Strong, No I admire YOU, & I like that you sound DIFFERENT"

WILL-I-AM - "When you hit that note my eyebrows fell off my Head, Woof, Woof, Woof, Woof, Woof!”

GAVIN ROSSDALE - "She's Strong, WOW, I Gotta Say your VOICE is UNBELIEVEABLE, UNBELIEVEABLE, UNBELIEVEABLE!”

Liza has had not one but two kidney transplants in her lifetime and is currently Patron for the charity Kidney Wales. During this tour Liza will be raising money for the charity to give back something to the surgeons and research teams who enabled her to have such a long singing career and long life and also to inspire other patients with kidney problems that transplants like hers can be a life saver and lead to a better life and to get the message across widely to all to allow organ transplants to take place.

Liza also appeared on the Lorraine Kelly morning show where she talked about her double kidney transplants & performed a little Dame Shirley Bassey for her and the TV audience. Liza has performed along side Christopher Biggins, the comedian Jethro at his club, Ruth Maddocks from Hi De Hi, Max Boyce, Rhuddian, Wynne Evans (The Go Compare Singer & BBC Radio Wales presenter), Paul Potts (Winner of the 1st ever BGT), Owen Money (BBC Radio Wales presenter), Dennis Bryon (Drummer with the Bee Gees), Peter Karrie (From Phantom of the Opera Fame) and with Dame Shirley Bassey’s Musical Director amongst others. Liza has and is currently appearing in theatre tours with her Dame Shirley Bassey and Helen Shapiro Tribute shows.

Liza's Many Voices Theatre Show will include the hit songs of female singer icons such as Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Dame Shirley Bassey, Tina Turner, Gladys Knight, Lulu, Mariah Carey, Chaka Khan, Cher, to name but a few with Liza changing her vocal style and sound to impersonate each artiste just like Joe Longthorne did in his TV & theatre shows in years gone by. Liza will also include in the show some of her own songs from her current albums including “My Impossible Dream” and her cover in a jazzy slowed down style of Sir Tom Jones's initial hit single “It's Not Unusual” which is regularly featured and played on BBC Radio Wales. Liza's support act in her Swansea Grand theatre show date of the tour will be the fabulous Swansea Male Choir who have been invited to perform for the first half of the show. Other various choirs TBA will be invited to support her dates on the tour.

Phill.
