One of my favourite guitar solos. I had transcribed & learned this on a nylon string a few weeks and thought it would be beneficial for my development to try to move it over to bass.

A groove over a very common soul chord progression. Playing around with time but keeping it simple.

After hearing the sad news of D'Angelo's passing last week I've put together a little interpritation of the bass part to my favourite D'Angelo track - I Found My Smile Again

I remember listening to this, usually the Live at The Quick version & being in awe of Victor Wooten's fretless playing.

Here is the third single from my band - Xempa, called Hold Me Back. This is a excerpt of some of the cool bass bits for the track. I managed to completley mirror/use the same equipment as I did in the studio.
