I did a sample on this bass for one of my closest best friends Chazz. Originally this OLP was his and we traded around it for a while & he wanted to hear how it sounded today. I went a little bit OTT with this demo haha! Vice City anyone? OLP Stingray V, passive straight into Logic with some compression.

Trying out my favourite flatwounds- Olinto’s by La Bella on the Overwater Hollow-Body 6. Using this bass for the Phil Jones Bass Comp later this year here in Wales! Heres the start of the piece I’ composing for it. Neck pickup, EQ flat, tone rolled off plus some reverb.

A wonderful day/evening had a the Phil Jones Solo Bass Competiotn & Bass Expo here in Wales! Firstly I'd like to thank everyone who came to wach, take part & work the event. Big shoutout to quite a few of my students, friends from close & afar.

Playing through the Coda of my bands track Home. Using the same equipment as I did in the studio. Overwater P5, P Pickup in active mode with a slight treble boost & tone rolled back slightly. Taking the low B for a tryout on my Overwater Custom J5 Fretless. Using the MM pickup, EQ flat, tone up & a little compression. Strung with La Bella RX Steels.

Always grateful for the support from La Bella Strings as an artist. Honestly the best strings for all situations. Be it some flatwounds or tapewounds when working with a country artist, crystal clear round wounds for some live pop sessions or the super polished when playing live with Xempa

A huge thanks to the team at La Bella strings for the continued support! Heres a short rundown of my latest "care package" direct from New York.

We played the amazing 2 days music trail festival in Newport South Wales, supporting the mighty Goldie Lookin' Chain! Here are a few photos from the event by the ever talented phtographer @sebastiankolesnik for you to peruse.

A huge thank you to all of the artists, musicians, producers & everyone I’ve worked with/for this year.
