Here is our debut release as Xempa! Our debut single Here As I Stand. Plus the accompnying music video.

Formed from a group of Welsh session musicians backing "The Artist" to start with, an organic chemistry was created in rehearsals & the studio. The decision to become an independant band was envisioned.

"Here as I stand is the emotionally charged and upbeat debut single from the new welsh band Xempa. When you pick out each instrument you can hear the fun they had in the studio writing and recording. It’s like each musician is bouncing along with the track, all glued together by Jamee Summer’s vocals. Ultimately, Here as I Stand is a declaration of strength, a commitment to self, and a recognition of one's inner power to move forward, no matter the obstacles."
